Why OpenStudents
OpenStudents was created to solve a simple but urgent problem: many NOUN students struggle to find reliable information, locate support, get updates, or connect with fellow students. With thousands of learners across Nigeria studying independently, access to guidance and community becomes limited, and students often feel lost, isolated, or overwhelmed.
We saw an opportunity to change that.
OpenStudents began as a commitment to make NOUN education clearer, easier, and more connected. Today, we are building a student-first platform that removes confusion, creates community, and ensures that every learner (old or new) gets the support they need to thrive.
